Miles Watt

Miles has well over a decade of international experience in security, crisis management and resilience roles. Over that time, he has supported clients and projects across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He has supported government, NGOs and private companies as well as over eight years as a resilience leader within an oil and gas services company.  

Miles is a Member of the Business Continuity Institute and holds a level 6 diploma as a Certified Security Management Professional. He is also the founder of the Security and Resilience Network, connecting security and resilience leaders globally.   

Prior to entering the private sector, Miles commissioned as a British Army Officer from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He served in an infantry unit for the majority of his service. He deployed on combat operations in Afghanistan as well as security operations to British Overseas Territories and security support to the London Olympic Games. Miles was awarded a Mention in Dispatches for Gallantry in Afghanistan.
