Erik is an operational leader with more than 25 years of experience helping organizations make critical decisions under pressure. His background spans intelligence operations, enterprise risk management, cybersecurity, investigations, crisis response, and large-scale organizational leadership, giving him a unique ability to connect strategic priorities with operational execution.
Prior to joining Sicuro Group, Erik built and led mission-critical programs across both government and private-sector organizations. Most recently, he established and operationalized an enterprise Insider Threat Program for a major financial institution, developing governance frameworks, monitoring protocols, investigative processes, and executive reporting capabilities supporting more than 50,000 employees.
Before entering the private sector, Erik spent over two decades leading intelligence and operational teams within the U.S. military and federal government. He held senior leadership roles overseeing a 160-person intelligence organization, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, directing crisis response activities, and leading cross-functional transformation initiatives supporting national security operations.
Known for his ability to bring clarity to complex situations, Erik excels at building high-performing teams, creating operational discipline, and helping leaders navigate uncertainty with confidence. His experience across intelligence, cybersecurity, investigations, and risk management enables him to support organizations operating in challenging environments where preparation, responsiveness, and sound decision-making are essential.
